Inspection & grading

See the condition. Agree the action. Keep the evidence.

A useful inspection brief defines what will be checked and how the findings support your stock decision. Product-specific handling and any functional work are confirmed before the job.

Prepare for this service

  • SKU or serial references and the items to be checked
  • Condition criteria, reference photos and accessory requirements
  • Sampling or item-by-item coverage and expected quantities
  • Photo requirements, excluded tests and the person approving next steps
01

Define the check first

Agree appearance, accessories, packaging, photo requirements and the number of items to inspect. Sampling and item-by-item checks have distinct scopes. Functional tests and repair assessment require a separate agreed procedure.

02

Report what was observed

SKU or serial references connect findings, actual inspected quantities and photos. Customer-stated return reasons remain separate from warehouse observations; unchecked aspects are identified.

03

You approve the next step

Use the agreed grading criteria to choose storage, repacking, restocking or forwarding. Additional work, quantities and costs require approval. Warehouse handling and customer refunds are separate processes.

Prices, storage periods, inspection scope and onward transport are confirmed individually. Wait for receiving instructions before sending goods. Do not email passwords, payment details or API keys.

The records to agree before we start

01

Checks with a defined scope

Record the instruction version, checks performed and quantity actually inspected.

02

Findings linked to goods

Connect visible condition, packaging, accessories and photos to the appropriate item or batch.

03

A decision-ready record

Identify unchecked aspects and unresolved findings so your team can approve the next handling action.

When a batch needs a decision

A reported fault is not reproduced

Retain the customer’s stated reason separately from the warehouse observation. Note the tests actually agreed and performed; do not expand a visual check into a functional assurance.

More work is needed

Describe the affected items and proposed work. Confirm the location, method, quantities and additional charges before authorising repair assessment, rework or further tests. If opening or testing affects resale, agree specific permission and keep the affected sample quantity separate.

A PRACTICAL WAY FORWARD

One return. A connected process.

01

Tell us what is coming

Start with the receiving country, product and work you need. We confirm the location and scope before you send.

02

Receive & understand

Incoming references, counts and agreed inspection results give your team a basis for the next decision.

03

Decide & move forward

Approve storage, repacking, restocking or consolidated forwarding. We align the next action with your instructions.

LET’S FIND THE RIGHT FIT

Your next step starts with three details.

Tell us the country, the product and what needs to happen. We will clarify the handling scope and the information needed for a quote.
